Who says you can’t have two weddings? Erin & Ryan were married in Naples, Florida months prior, but wanted to share in the celebration of their love with friends and family at home as well! Their beautiful and bright reception was a party to remember in Saint Louis!
We are extremely excited to announce that this wedding not only won Best Event Produced for a Private Individual at the 2016 Louie Awards, but is also featured in Martha Stewart’s Real Weddings magazine this month! The Cosmopolitan Events team is so thankful to have had the opportunity to share in Erin & Ryan’s big day.
Guests had their first peek at the playful theme when they received their envelope-within-an-envelope save the dates showing the whimsical patterns 0f black and white with lemons. The style became more formal with the gold foil on the invitations all handcrafted by Cheree Berry Paper.
As guests arrived at the family home, they were greeted in the backyard with this one of a kind seating display created by Parties & Props. The board would not have been complete without Cheree Berry Paper’s adorable escort cards – just pick your lemon and find your table!
Shying away from the traditional photo booth, guests were offered a chic yet comfy photo swing to lounge on while Goodeye Photoshare snapped a cute picture! Did you spot the cut-out of their dog, Minnie, in the corner?
To keep our lemon party going, guests were offered boozy snow cones during cocktail hour to go along with the beautifully decorated bar.
There are more than just lemons at this party! As cocktail hour continued, guests also enjoyed a wide variety of raw seafood from Annie Gunn’s to balance out their palette.
Erin & Ryan’s love of St. Louis baseball was skillfully incorporated into many different details throughout the evening. Can you spot all of the Cardinals?
Guests were floored as they moved into the tented reception space. A white top, Clearspan tent constructed by Traube Tent created a bright oasis on the sprawling green landscape of the yard.
The florist, CC Blumen made the head table a jaw dropper. This stunning, lush hedge with was sure to be one to remember and definitely took our breath away.
The guest tables were equally as amazing! From BBJ Linens crisp White Bengaline & Sand Jute tablecloths with gorgeous, custom table runners created by Parties & Props to Premier Party Rentals French Wood Chairs, not a single detail was spared for this reception space.
Once dinner was over, the champagne started flowing and guests let loose and had great time on the dance floor provided by Premier Party Rentals.
Before the evening ended, guests were invited to the outdoor movie theater, complete with popcorn and candy, to watch Erin & Ryan’s romantic ceremony video from their Naples nuptials.
We wish Erin and Ryan a lifetime of happiness and love! Also, a big thank you to Martha Stewart Weddings for joining us at the celebration and featuring the wedding this month! This reception would have been nothing without the help of our amazing vendors to bring it all together.
