As the old Billy Idol song goes, it really was “A Nice Day for a Wright Wedding!” We had a lot of fun with this vibrant couple by using some bright colors and played around with their names throughout the stationery! Not only are Kat and Tony a super-fun couple, but they are also wedding planner, Kathleen’s closest friends. So this is what happens when you are a wedding planner and bridesmaid all rolled up in one!
The morning of the wedding, Kat and her bridesmaids (us!) relaxed at her parent’s house while getting ready with the Daniellestyle team. Kat wore a beautiful Modern Trousseau dress from Fleur de Lis Bridal Boutique and added a splash of pink with her Jimmy Choo’s.
The bride’s vibrant color palette really popped in the bright colored bouquets and floral arrangements provide by Artistry Florist.
Finding the right mix of dresses for the bridesmaids was important to build the rest of the palette.
Not only did our event planner Kathleen help the bride plan her big day, she also stood by her side while she said “I do!”
With over 300 of their closest family and friends as their witness, Kat and Tony were married at the World’s Fair Pavilion in historic Forest Park. The picturesque view of the park was the perfect backdrop for their spectacular day.
After the ceremony Stephen Seebeck Photography captured some stunning shots of the newly married couple and their bridal party.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails from a custom bar provided by Exclusive Events. Cocktail napkins created by Livia Paul Paper and Design Studio, added a cute, personal detail to the cocktail hour.
BBJ Linens provided the pistachio green tablecloths and the happy “Blumen” napkins for the guests’ tables. The napkin was the inspiration for many of the custom items created for the wedding. Premier Party Rentals provided the classic ghost chairs that almost disappeared letting the tables and white with tangerine chandeliers by Exclusive Events shine through. Artistry Florist tied the whole room together with their lush floral centerpieces.
So many specialty details were included in this wedding, thanks to Livia Paul Paper and Design Studio!
After dinner guests enjoyed a 3 tier banana cake with brown butter filling from Sarah’s Cake Shop a gelato cart from Butler’s Pantry.
Griffin and The Gargoyles provided the reception music while guests danced the night away.
This is one true Saint Louis family!
