The wedding celebration of Julianna and Josh was one to remember. The ceremony was at a local church, attended by more than 700 guests, followed by a gorgeous garden reception at the bride’s sprawling Sikeston’s home. The design of the wedding was inspired by the family’s Southern style and hospitality with a color palette of creamy whites and ivory, blush, bronze with a kiss of cappuccino.
Following the ceremony, guests were transported to the family’s estate for the reception. As the guests entered through the wrought iron gates, they were surrounded by lighted majestic oak trees lining the driveway. A stone entryway, adorned with candles and cascading orchids guided guests to the expansive backyard. The commanding 18,000 square foot clear tent, custom-built wooden bars, and white lounge furniture all set the stage for an enchanting evening. As the evening grew darker, the tent slowly began to glow, inviting the guests in for dinner and dancing. Upon entering, guests were wowed by crystal chandeliers and cascading fabric. Pin-spot lights were focused on each table, bringing the centerpieces to life. Lush flower arrangements of white lilies and orchids, as well as warm candlelight adorned each table. Engraved menu cards, escort cards and table numbers only accented the rich damask linens, gold etched glassware and specialty china.
The lighting was an important element and perfectly choreographed throughout the evening. The tent transformed from the drama of the pin spot lighting to the warm glow of the chandeliers during dinner. As the lighting began to pulse the guest prepared for a fun night of dancing. Beautifully presented food stations ensured no guest would leave hungry. The legendary Pat Patrick Orchestra provided the music for dinner and when it was time, they brought the reception to their feet.
After all of the detailed planning, the hard work from a wonderful team of vendors, and inspiration given by this amazing family, we are proud of this award winning event.
