Caitlan and Thomas could not ask for a more perfect day for their Fall wedding, as it was truly one to remember.
From the beginning of planning, the ceremony and reception was to be held outside at their Clayton residence. The sprawling landscape, complete with mature trees and swimming pool provided the beautiful setting for this stunning affair. The family’s love of art inspired the design and their personal collection of Folk Art was woven throughout this unique and personal outdoor event.
The collaboration of countless vendors such as Event Partners, Premier, Two Blue Doors stationery, and The Aries Company made the wedding come to life working diligently in the months prior to the Fall nuptials. The guests were transported to the historic Clayton neighborhood in vintage trolleys by Saint Louis Trolley and welcomed to the backyard for the ceremony with champagne in hand.
The musical styling of Elegant Ensembles ushered the ceremony to commence with the centerpiece of a wrought-iron archway that was beautifully decorated with flowers to frame the couple. Montano Grant florist placed unexpected touches throughout the ceremony area including flower-filled galvanized tubs attached to the tree trunks.
The bridesmaids in dresses from Bella Bridesmaid made their way down the aisle with clutch-style bouquets wrapped in raffia. Hair and makeup by Danielle Style made Caitlan look breathtaking as she and Thomas exchanged vows in the transformed backyard. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed hors d oeuvre’s prepared by Chef Gerard Craft and cocktails while leisurely exploring the grounds. Unexpected touches by Monanto Grant such as the floating ducks stationed in the lighted pool created a rustic and organic feeling.
Chimes rang to usher guests into the one of a kind tented reception area where every component of was in place. The Aries Company emphasized the importance of lighting in the tented reception as a part of the evolution of design and was perfectly choreographed throughout the evening. The tables were dressed in smoke burlap and ivory Party Arts linens as to add to the natural Fall colors that surrounded the tent.
Beautifully presented theme food stations by Chef Gerard Craft ensured no guest would leave hungry while providing this farm to table feast. Instead of the traditional wedding cake, the guests were offered an assortment of pies from Sugaree Baking Company.
Entertainment included the musical styling of FIG DJ, which had guests dancing till the wee hours of the morning. The crowd favorite, Photobooth STL, made lasting memories for the guests that participated.
The details of the wedding day were unending and personal elements not to be missed by either guests or Josephine Havlak who captured every moment as it unfolded. As the night was reaching an end, August Evenings valet services were available for all guests and to escort Caitlan and Thomas to their first night as a married couple.
From ceremony to reception, the event was seamless and perfectly executed creating a memorable wedding day.
