Non-Profit Spotlight: Thompson Foundation for Autism

March 2, 2017 by Cosmopolitan Events Filed Under: Blog, Four Seasons, Non-Profit Event

As we are starting the plans for the annual auction and gala for Thompson Foundation for Autism’s 2017 event (SAVE THE DATE FOR OCTOBER 20!) we reminisce about the past few years working with this amazing organization!

On May 5, 2016 the Four Seasons Hotel hosted “It’s in the Cards” Charity Event and Auction. Co-chaired by Matt Carpenter and his wife Mackenzie, the Thompson Foundation raises awareness, support, and strength for the children and families affected by autism.

The Executive Director at the Thompson Center, Dr. Stephen Kanne, took the stage. Under Dr. Kanne’s leadership, the Center has expanded its regional and national presence. Senator Michael Gibbons also appointed him to the Missouri Blue Ribbon Panel on Autism. Dr. Kanne also helped orchestrate the recent partnership with St. Louis’s own Mercy Autism Center.
