John Donne once said, “No spring nor summer beauty hath such grace; As I have seen in one autumnal face.” On October 29, 2011, Ashley and Casey embodied these words in a warm, romantic autumn evening ceremony. Together with Steven Becker Fine Dining, this beautiful wedding won the 2012 ISES Louie Award for Best Wedding (Budget over $75,000).
Ashley gifted her wedding party with “getting ready clothes” by Soft Surrounding, as well as gold jewelry by Amy Grace in Hawaii, and the morning was spent getting pampered in her Bridal Suite at The Ritz Carlton. After finishing touches were done for hair and make up by Christy Parsons of Clares of Clayton, Ashley stepped into her stunning Kenneth Pool Wedding Gown. Amidst a beautiful backdrop of changing fall leaves in Forest Park, the bridesmaids in coppery-brown dresses and elegant groomsmen at their sides posed for husband and wife team Bobbi + Mike Photography.
Playful penguins posters guided the way for the guests to arrive to Graham Chapel where the nuptials were officiated by Reverend Dick Haynes and accompanied by the very talented Elegant Ensembles and along with organist Pat Partridge.
The altar and aisle were adorned with an abundance of lush white flowers from Artistry. Ivory LED candles filled Graham Chapel creating an amorous glow captured on film by Cinematographers from Cineast Films.

Immediately following the ceremony the newly married couple made a sizzling exit through a sea of sparklers. Best Transportation whisked the wedding party to The Coronado in a limousine while the Bride and Groom rode in a classic Bentley to begin their celebration.
The trio of Cosmopolitan Events, Rob Schaefer and Artistry collaborated in design efforts to bring the couple’s dreams of a warm, romantic reception from an entrance of rich champagne fabric and chandeliers custom created by Parties & Props and delicate yet luxurious linens by BBJ Linen. The Aries Company created the lighting details while the crystal chargers, napkin holders and votive candles were provided by Grand Rental Station with fresh furniture styling by CORT Event Furnishing.
Artistry topped each table with either exquisite arrangements of white hydrangeas and orchids with hanging crystals. Custom-created vintage mirrored table numbers and tabletop stationery was created by Cheree Berry Paper.

Arvell & Company entertained during cocktail reception and dinner, then brought it up many notches to get the guests to dance the night away. Steven Becker Fine Dining provided the delectable multi-course dinner that culminated in the cutting of the beautiful 4-tiered white and gold cake also designed by the caterer’s pastry chef.
A picture is worth a thousand words and the photo booth provided by the spunky Bobbi + Mike Photography gave everyone the opportunity to take spontaneous and candid photos for the couple as a memento of their reception.
