As summer 2016 approaches we are still reminiscing about Jenny and Ben’s wedding day last June. The week before their wedding, the grounds had been inundated with rain when the skies finally opened up that glorious Saturday morning and blue skies coated Saint Louis giving this sweet couple a truly spectacular day.
Jenny and her bridesmaids relaxed at her parent’s home the morning of the wedding enjoying breakfast and getting ready with the dream team from Daniellestyle. Jenny chose the most perfect Modern Trousseau dress from Fleur de Lis Bridal Boutique.
Jenny and Ben were married at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in front of 250 of their closest family and friends. The room glowed during their first kiss.
After the ceremony the wedding party stopped by the couple’s home to capture a sweet picture at the “proposal” swing. The memories of where this journey began came flooding back.
Just before the reception started Stephen Seebeck Photography took advantage of the amazing weather and snapped pictures on the golf course at Meadowbrook Country Club. Thank goodness for golf carts to get around the large property!
While guests enjoyed cocktails on the patio, the vendor team put the final touches on the ballroom. The long guest tables were topped with antique lace runners and blush napkins from BBJ Linen. Aries Company provided the elegant, gold chairs that sat underneath the romantic drape and chandeliers hung by Exclusive Events. The room wouldn’t have been complete without the lush hydrangea arrangements from Artistry Florist.
The bride and her mother had an eye for custom, vintage details. Everything was perfect from the suitcase card box to the custom hashtag chalkboard sign.
As guests entered the ballroom they were greeted by the most intricate dessert display made out of vintage pieces collected over time by the bride and her mother. The Cakery filled the containers and elevations with cakes and cupcakes swimming in buttercream.
After dinner, guests enjoyed a whiskey bar, cigars with some hardcore dancing spun by DJ Tres, a friend of the couple.
