The change of seasons brings more weddings and events. For years, our clients envisioned their special days, so we love making their thoughts come to life. A huge part to planning a wedding is the color scheme. The colors dictate wedding stationery, bridesmaid’s dresses, groomsmen’s ties, and details throughout the big day. We get questions all the time about which colors go with which seasons, so here are some our favorites.
FALL
Fall is the season transiting out from summer brights to bold winter colors. Fall screams for colors such as moss green, teal and navy blue, orange, red, and raspberry. Using wooden chairs, tables, or decor adds the perfect taste of fall.
WINTER
As we say goodbye to autumn colors, we bring in the romantic, darker colors. With Christmas approaching, December calls for reds, greens, and golds. Brides love the red, as it is a color which symbolizes love, but is timely and festive! In January and February brides prefer the all shades of purples and pinks.
SPRING
Pastels scream spring! The combination of light pink, white, and blue makes the wedding sophisticated yet cheerful.
SUMMER
Sweet summertime calls for sweet colors. We love the vibrant greens, oranges, hot pinks, yellows, and navy blues. Many of the summer weddings occur outside, so bright colors contrast green very well. However, some brides want to take a lighter route and choose to incorporate the spring color palette.
