Snow covered grounds provided a romantic setting to Carolyn and Sean’s February wedding. The young couple had visions of sharing their sense of adventure and love of life with family and friends on this special day.
As the ceremony began, the musical styling of Rosewood Ensemble ushered in the wedding party. Vocalist Patricia Scanlon accompanied with the bride’s brother, Jeff Schnuck, on the guitar made Ladue Chapel come alive.
A processional of eight groomsmen lead the bridesmaids; dressed in Berrybridge Vera Wang “Cafe” that accented the espresso brown color scheme of the wedding. All eyes were on Carolyn as she entered the aisle carrying a striking sculptural bouquet provided by Wildflowers designed with a linear, over the arm style, finished with satin ribbon.
The collaboration of Danielle Style and Grant Adams with the bride’s hair and make-up accompanied with the Ulla-Maija wedding dress from Berrybridge only enhanced the already glowing bride.
Memories of childhood and previous events guided the decision of having the reception at the St. Louis Country Club. Transformation of the venue was unique with elements using shades of green, espresso and other earthy tones insides then moving outside to a watery ambiance in shades of blue and coral. The long elegant tables were magnified with tall centerpieces by Wildflowers.
In the tent, the hanging orchid look was created by Exclusive Events as it was a favorite design by the couple that introduced the theme of the event during the planning. The elegance continued on in the tent to conclude the big day with elegant drapery, specialty lighting and lounges placed intimately throughout.
Rental companies, Traube Tent and Belmont Party Rentals brought in the long tables and chiavari chairs transforming the look of the St. Louis Country Club and the tent. Alternating chocolate flocked paisley taffeta linens and apple vermicelli quilt linens created a rhythm of color throughout the rooms.
Guests danced all night to the sounds of Moments Notice Band from Denver, Colorado. To represent the couples’ love of adventure, a kissing fish ice sculpture was in place to hold the seafood created by the ice artists, Ice Visions which reflected the shades of blue and coral in the tented reception.
If Cineast Films videographer or Jon Koch Photography missed a moment, Photobooth STL was sure to capture guests’ excitement of Carolyn and Sean’s winter nuptials. Fresh flowers by Wildflowers were perfectly placed on the Schnucks Bakery dotted swiss design wedding cake for all to enjoy.
The Rolls Royce getaway was provided by Best Transportation to whisk the newlyweds on their newest exciting adventure.
